Glorious perspectives make all the difference... I woke up and it looks like I'm in a "snow globe"... snow falling everywhere and all around from the clouds onto the snowy landscape... and so much of it!... As I watched the wind playing with the feather-like clumps of snowflakes, all I could think of was... WOW... what and ABUNDANCE of MIRACLES is falling onto Earth here today!... When you think that every single snowflake is a magnificent little miracle in itself... that's a LOT of … [Read more...]

Sweet plumeria... While I love all flowers, I've always especially loved the red hibiscus flower and orchids. Then during my stay on the Big Island of Hawai'i for a few months, this species of plumeria unexpectedly became my favourite flower on the island!... The tree itself is so pretty, with a gentle and loving energy. When I went on my sunrise hikes every morning, I coincided my water breaks to be in locations where these trees grew along the road and deeply inhaled the so lovely … [Read more...]

Sacred observations... When we take a pause of the continuous doing of life, and simply observe with wonder, curiosity and openness, we receive the wealth of reminders that Nature conveys to us... Taking this photograph for example, imagine yourself in that beautiful space... The breeze is caressing you and playing with your hair... The sun is kissing your skin... The air is scented with sunshine and ocean salt... The waves are rolling in and out as a sea turtle basks in the sunshine... … [Read more...]

Tree Beings, including the "Wise Ones"... While I greatly love ALL trees... when I encounter the "Wise Ones" that are so ancient compared with the lifespan of humans, I'm always left in awe... their energy is so tangible and vast... When we think about all the stories they hold from ages past... This one I'm hugging in the photograph is "Gog" near Glastonbury, UK... "Magog" also stands proudly beside it... Both are ancient Oak beings and are related with the legends of King … [Read more...]

Sense of wonder... I have no doubt in my mind (and heart) that animals have just as much a sense of wonder and beauty as we do... I've seen many different species looking at beautiful sunsets, just gazing without moving,... simply fully in the moment, looking mesmerized... I've seen many different species looking up at the brilliantly shining moon and sing or howl for no apparent reason except to express awe... I've seen many different species leisurely walk through a meadow of … [Read more...]

Our multi-dimensional world... So much beauty and wonders exist beyond what we normally perceive in this physical dimension... We can perceive it with our many other senses - the intuitive, spiritual senses of sight, hearing, feeling, knowing, etc... Once in a while though, our technology captures things that our physical sight didn't notice, and while our logical minds quickly dismiss these captured wonders as mere light reflections or other explanation... we just KNOW that it … [Read more...]

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... It's always a matter of perspective. The call of a raven might sound beautiful to one, and sound aweful to another. The appearance of a tree frog on a window might be cute to one, and be repulsive to another. The sensation of the wind on one's skin might feel delightful to one, and uncomfortable to another. We always choose how we experience our world through our personal perspective - and it's very individual. As an example, I'm featuring the … [Read more...]
