Glorious groves of evergreen Tree Beings… more than just pretty!
Feeling restless in an impressive blizzard that started yesterday evening, I went for a hike on a trail of intermittent massive snow drifts (Nature’s stair-master!)…
I was amazed that while the visibility was near zero in the snowy open spaces (blasted by the north wind), the trail was fairly calm where groves of evergreens stood… Only a breeze reached me through these beautiful trees, while the open spaces looked like a scene from the polar regions!
While I didn’t mind the high winds and blowing snow where there were no trees, since I was dressed for it (Ravens that flew above me seemed to share my sentiments, playfully surfing the winds!), I truly appreciated the sheltering beauty of the snow-covered Pines… ♥
