Yesterday evening as I worked on my book outside on the open air deck, one of my dear brothers visiting out of province with his family gifted me a little feather that he found on the ground. Everyone who knows me well knows how special feathers are to me. …
I stayed out late since it was hot and humid (my kind of weather!) and also extremely windy (so no mosquitoes!). As I gathered my things to go indoors, the wind suddenly gusted and my little feather blew away!… I looked absolutely everywhere for it on and around the deck, but it was nowhere to be found.
This morning I went out on the deck again and looked absolutely everywhere for that little feather, even though logically, with a full night of intense wind and again another very windy day, it would be an absolute miracle to find it. I didn’t find it. So I made a heart wish that somehow I would find it again and settled to journal. Suddenly another gust of wind blew and ruffled my journal pages, blowing away a large feather I’d tucked inside it!… I got up to try and catch it but it was already nowhere to be found – gone with the wind!…
As I walked back to my seat, I stepped over an electric cable that runs along the deck floor to my parents’ water fountain, and as I looked down, there, tucked securely under the cable on my path… was that little feather my brother gifted to me!!!…
My heart smiled wide… its desire was magickally granted… ♥
