This Full Moon, also a “supermoon” day has been supercharged with lunar and celestial energy, which affects us on multiple levels.
It inspired me to share what I’ve learned from personal experience and observation, especially this past decade…
Energy is what enables you to find your desired partner – whether a soulmate, business relation or other. Energy is what enables us to find members of our soul family. Energy is also what allows butterflies to find the specific plants they require for their caterpillars to survive.
Geography, distance, physical circumstances… none of those matter where energy is concerned, and that’s truly a wonderful thing!
When I transformed my entire former urban backyard in 2003, into gardens of plants indigenous to the prairie and woodland habitats, I was absolutely awe-struck by what Nature taught me about energy.
From the very first plant I added to the yard, I saw how – like magick – tiny winged beings found this oasis of native plants in the middle of the city environment. This yard, which was no bigger than a double garage, surrounded by lawns, roads, parking lots and buildings, attracted countless species of birds, butterflies, dragonflies, bees, damselflies, moths and beetles.
It became an oasis of natural food sources for this wildlife and was especially important for the butterflies. I discovered that every plant species I had chosen (several dozen of them) was a host plant for specific types of butterflies since they had evolved together in the natural environment. They were the only plants their caterpillars could use as food, and hence continue the species. Finding these plants the middle of the city seemed truly miraculous.
Then one day, I had a sudden clear insight that the miracle was… energy!
Plants have not been conditioned to act like someone they’re not, to hide parts of themselves, or to forget who they really are. They each simply radiate their unique energy signature in the purest form, every moment of their life. This allows those who seek them, like butterflies, to discover them regardless where they are, for energy has no boundaries. It’s divinely brilliant and teaches us so much.
We, as human beings, also radiate our own energy signatures.
The more we honour who we really are and live by our personal truth, the more we attract to us those we seek and who seek us. This benefits so many more than we can imagine – the ripple effects are astonishing!
This is how we find our soul sisters and soul brothers – those who feel like family as soon as we meet. This is also how we attract our ideal partners for various purposes, including our soulmates and twin flames.
Geography and numbers are inconsequential. All we have to do is be ourselves in the most authentic way we can be.
When I started being guided to join different mentorships (virtually and in person) and to attend various events, I was astonished by how these activities always connected me with at least one precious member of my soul family, including a soulmate and my twin flame. It didn’t matter that we lived on opposite ends of our beautiful planet, or that there were hundreds of people in attendance. We found each other immediately. Our energies resonated so strongly, that they were like beacons for each other. It was like the other people weren’t even there.
I’ve also experienced this phenomenon in other ways in Nature.
Sacred landscapes and beings residing there, that have called to me, have provided unique energies for my personal growth at those specific times. We mutually benefited each other by being together.
I’ve also discovered the first tiniest leaf sprouting out of an entire forest around me; I’ve noticed tiny butterflies with wings no larger than dimes feeding on moist soil on the ground; I’ve been captivated by the smallest flower on my path.
It wasn’t my sense of sight that enabled me to find these. It was my sense of feeling – my ability to tune into their unique energies that radiated within their environments.
It’s really so amazing when we understand the power of energy – especially the energy radiating from our hearts!
