It’s not uncommon to see people stopped on the side of a road to simply gaze in awe at a perfect, radiant rainbow arching across the sky.
It’s not often that something moves people enough to stop them for a moment from their hectic schedule, to simply enjoy the presence of such a beautiful sight.
While it’s probably very individual for each of us, rainbows definitely touch our hearts and spirits in a way that is unique to them.
I personally feel that rainbows are the visible form of the Divine’s love and to see one is a sacred gift, reminding us of our own divinity.
When we think about it, we shine the rainbow light ourselves.
For anyone familiar with the chakras (energy centers) of our bodies, when we feel our best, we radiate the colours of the rainbow brilliantly. Pure white light contains all the colours of the rainbow. Whether we can see it or not, our light shines regardless.
In our purest forms, we are light beings, and many greats of science, including Albert Einstein, have proclaimed this themselves. One of Einstein’s famous quotes “Matter is Energy. Energy is Light. We are all Light Beings.” also attests to us being love beings, since love is the highest frequency of energy.
Like Nature, we’ve all been created from pure divine love – the source of all miracles.
Perhaps on a soul level we recognize ourselves when we see a rainbow.
Rainbows are a beautiful reflection of our divine love-light.
According to some Native American wisdom, when rainbows are found in crystals, they’re believed to be able to manifest some of the purest energies on Earth and are the closest manifestation of pure white light on the physical plane.
No matter what crystal I’ve acquired over the years, a rainbow (or multiples) always comes with it! It’s so uncanny, for I don’t look for them – I simply acquire crystals that call to me. I consider it such a beautiful surprise gift since many of these crystal rainbows become visible to me only later when I hold them at specific angles in the light.
I’ve been seeing rainbows everywhere lately. They appear in the most amazing and unexpected places… as reflections on metallic surfaces, through glass objects and crystals, through misty clouds and sun showers, and even as tagged images on Facebook by friends saying the rainbows reminded them of me (beautiful gifts!).
They also appear through my photographs, like the one I’m sharing, taken a few days ago near Anchorage, Alaska. It features the fireweed in full bloom under the radiant sun.
When you see a rainbow, do you recognize your own magnificence in it?
