I love Owls and the last time I saw one (a Great-Horned Owl) was last Summer… I missed their presence.
Today, as I talked on the phone with my parents, I walked around the house from one large window to another, to look outside at the surrounding Nature… I just happened to be looking through the kitchen window when a gorgeous small Owl flew into my view and perched up in one of the Balsam Fir trees!
This little Owl flew in at a personally significant time… what a Divine gift! It was perched with its back to me at an angle from the house, but it must have felt my overjoyed love energy flowing to it, for it fully turned its head around and looked straight at me!… I savoured its presence, then took a few photos… and shortly afterward it flew away.
I looked it up in my bird guide and discovered that it’s a “scarce and elusive owl of the Boreal forest”, a Boreal Owl… so to see it, and especially in my location, was truly a rare gift!… A little side note… Driving later to meet with family, a semi truck passed me as I turned off the highway,… and written in big, bold letters on its box was “Experience GRACE…”(!)… ♥
