SNAKE showed up today, 3 times (!), on this Full Moon, in the most UNexpected way!… and the timing of it with my personal journey is TRULY incredible…
Snake is probably the animal with the most controversy, paradox and mysticism, throughout history. However, from a Shamanic point of view, it’s a very potent Messenger, Teacher, Power Animal… and showing up 3 times is also significant…
Snake symbolizes many things, including… initiation, transformation, shedding of “old”, death and rebirth, wisdom, alchemy, transition, rapid change, kundalini, sense-itivity,… (the books I have on Animal Spirit Guides / Totems have multiple pages dedicated just to Snake!). It has been very significant to me since April 2011…
This particular one that showed up (yes,… in the toilet!…) is a Garter Snake (non venomous), and common around here. However, I hadn’t seen one since late Summer last year, and none in the house! After considering all options for it… I flushed it with the loving intention that it will return where it originated from. It appeared 3 times throughout the day… I was used to seeing that when I lived in Costa Rica – seeing that here, in Winter, is something else!…
Note: I’m very comfortable with all animals, including snakes, and I’ve handled snakes many times before. So if this one is persistent about coming into the house, I’ll try to find a new home for it – but I personally am a free spirit and don’t desire having a pet!… ♥
