Creative inspirations…
We’re all creative in some way or other, no matter what our age… As children, we’re natural creators of games, pictures, crafts, stories,… Our imagination is bold and free, so we’re always open to inspiration and it flows beautifully… Creativity is part of our natural state of being.
If you feel you’ve lost your creative inspiration over the years, think back to when you were a child and observe without judgement what inspired you, what brought you your greatest joys… and think about what inspires and lights you up now… We’re creative when we garden, compose stories or songs or poetry, cook, bake, arrange salads or bouquets, decorate – foods or rooms, design clothing, knit, crochet, sew, dye fabrics, braid our hair, craft, weave, adorn ourselves, mix herbs for teas, mix essential oils for different pleasures, paint – art or a house, do wood-work, build a structure, make up games to play with kids or pets, dance to our own rhythm or allow music to move us without thinking…
I received my creative inspiration from Nature for this piece that I’m featuring… I received the beautiful ammonite fossil pendant years ago from a dear soul sis (thank you Eva!). I felt the need to add a necklace of greens in my collection, so I looked at my bead selection of stones, crystals and freshwater pearls and voila!… Another visual expression of my essence… I’m so grateful for our ability to create, and for what inspires us… ♥
