Flowers are such an infinite delight to our senses… their shapes, colours, scents, textures, sizes, petals, foliage,… They’re such a blessing to have in our world, simply for the pleasures they offer us as they are, not to mention that they transform into all sorts of delectable edibles with a variety of uses…
Regardless of the environments I’ve been in (forests, prairies, meadows, swamps, deserts, shores, temperate, tropical, mountainous, etc…) there’s always a diversity of flowers…
During my Nature sunrise walk-hike (it’s more of a hike due to the uphill and downhill winding roads!) on the western slope of Mauna Loa, I always find a treasure at my feet when I take a break to drink water. I was so wow’d by this flower I’d never seen before, that had obviously just fallen off a tree, looking so vibrantly beautiful…
Does anyone know what kind of blossom it is? I’m not familiar with this one at all… … it’s the size of the palm of my hand. I love that Nature always has new discoveries and gifts for me every morning… And I definitely appreciate every flower I encounter!… ♥
