Sacred co-creations…

There’s something quite magickal about creating our own “anything”. They become sacred manifestations…

I can always tell if something was mass produced, created as part of a “the quicker the better” agreement, or created with loving intention and care. Whether it’s furniture, a piece of jewellery, a meal, a painting, a house, foods, perfume, clothing, a sculpture, a yard, etc…

There’s a beautiful energy and soul to things created from inspiration with passion and attention to detail… It’s no longer just a thing, but a work of spirit and matter that come together to manifest something beautiful…

I feel there’s a call for us at this time, to honour the sacred in any way we’re able to as individuals… Mass produced products are convenient and cheaper, but depending solely on those to feed our bodies and infuse our personal environments and daily routines eventually takes its toll on our spirit…

It’s really about being more conscious co-creators of our inner and outer worlds. It can be as simple as making a different choice the next time you purchase something, or creating your own instead. It can also be supporting local community gardens, local artists, fair trade and/or organic products, local farmers, environmental organizations that you feel a connection with, local parks, family owned restaurants and stores… We’re all in this together…

One way I love to honour the sacred is to infuse my own environment with sacred objects. I created this little dream catcher specifically for my car when I purchased it in 2011. While my car was mass produced, it’s infused with the energy of this sacred talisman. I used objects I already had, including the owl, woodpecker and parrot feathers (all found in Nature), the Thor’s hammer brass pendant, the bee brass bead, stone, lava and wood beads, leather strands, etc. Each thing I added has significant meaning and every time I drive my car I am reminded of All that this dream catcher honours with love and appreciation… ♥
